Volunteers are always welcome at the chamber. Besides our various committees, there are a variety of ways volunteers can help out, including at business mixers and special events. It’s a great way to meet business contacts in the greater Charlottetown area!
Reviews and develops policy positions for consideration by the board on municipal, provincial and federal economic development issues — including annual budgets. The Policy Committee also reviews and provides input to the board on the Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s annual policy resolutions.
Provides overall guidance for the chamber’s membership programs. The Membership Committee advises on engagement activities, member benefits, recognition programs, and education and networking opportunities relevant to chamber members.
Promotes chamber activities and events to the membership and contributes material for the chamber’s quarterly publication of Chamber Business Magazine.
BizUnder40 is a networking program for young business professionals and entrepreneurs that provides opportunities for group members to connect and build their networks.
Assists with the planning and co-ordination of the chamber’s signature fundraising events.
