At the annual general meeting next month, Pam Williams will take on the role of president of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce.
Pam has been practicing law in Charlottetown for twenty years with Cox & Palmer. She received her Queen’s Counsel designation in 2011. She has served as President of the Law Society and the provincial chapter for the Canadian Bar Association. She currently is a member of the steering committee for Island Advance and serves as Board liaison with the PEI Connectors program.
Current president Wendy Drake will remain on the executive as past-president. Several new volunteers also plan to assume roles: Jennifer Evans (Ocean 100/Hot 105.5) will join the executive as second vice-president; Dawn Binns (Insight Marketing), Jeff Murphy (Murphy’s Pharmacies) and Matthew McMillan (MacPherson Roche Smith & Associates) will serve as directors.
The AGM takes place Tuesday, May 3, at 10:30 a.m., in the Delta Prince Edward.
