“Small- and medium-sized businesses and non-profit organizations who will take advantage of the Translation Assistance Program will always be able to rely on Alianco to offer a professional and cordial service throughout the translation process,” confirmed the Chair of Alianco, Pauline Roy. She also stated: “The application process for participation in the program is easy to access and we are committed to continuously offer an expeditious response to the request of the customer.”

“The Government of Canada is committed to linguistic duality and to building a strong, competitive economy by investing in local strengths,” said the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for ACOA. “It is important to support small and medium-sized enterprises and non-profit organizations in Atlantic Canada in accessing translation services in both official languages, to help them improve their service offerings, competitiveness and their ability to seize new opportunities.”
Through ACOA, the Government of Canada is supporting Alianco by investing over $220,000 to enable the company help small and medium-sized enterprises and non-profit organizations upgrade their marketing and promotional material and tools to successfully compete in business at the national and international level.

The following sectors are eligible:
- Manufacturing and processing
- Goods and services to the industry and businesses
- Professional services
- Non-profit organizations serving these sectors
Only projects of more than $1,000 (approximately 4500 words) are eligible. Each eligible business may receive financial assistance equivalent to 50% of the translation costs up to a maximum of $2000. The costs incurred prior to the approval of the application will not be eligible.
