Island Entrepreneur Barry Walsh, President of B.Walsh Heating Ltd., was recently recognized as a winner of the Wise 50 over 50 Award during the Startup Canada Day on the Hill event in Ottawa.
Walsh started his company in 2001, at the age of 50, specializing in sales, repairs, service, and installation of boilers, oil tanks, furnaces, and hot water heaters. Today, B. Walsh Heating Ltd. is the largest privately owned home heating company in eastern Prince Edward Island. Walsh is constantly lending his expertise for improvements within the HVAC Industry, and he is recognized as a contributing author for the National HVAC Red Seal Certification Exam.

He adds, “He has strong discipline and is committed to providing his customers the best possible quality of work.
