Gallinger said, “It has been an honour to serve as Board Chair over the last 4 years. I am very confident in both CBDC’s future and Jamie’s leadership as the organization continues to grow and deliver their unique programs and services that are so essential to our region’s entrepreneurs.”
Caseley is the General Manager of Caseley’s Tent & Party Rentals. He has over 18 years of business experience and is an active member of the community. He has been on the board of directors since 2017.
“I am excited to lead CBDC Central’s board and work collaboratively with our community partners and staff to fulfill CBDC’s mandate of helping rural business owner’s succeed,” said Caseley. “Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I am such a big believer in the crucial part small businesses play in the economic success of rural communities.”

We are fortunate to have him on our team.”, said Tina Dickieson, Executive Director. “Of course we are very sad to see Wayne go after 9 years of hard work and dedication. It is a great comfort to know that he is still close by and remains a great champion of our CBDC.”
Along with the appointment of Jamie Caseley, the board also welcomed Chris Palmer as a new director. Chris Palmer is an entrepreneurial business professional from Summerside, PE. Along with owning and operating numerous small businesses in various industries, he served as an MLA for Summerside Wilmot and was the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism.
Gallinger has retired as both chair and director of the board effective June 13th, 2019.
