Languages at Work is a youth summer employment program designed to provide Canadian students (age 18-30) with practical summer job experience and a chance to practice and improve their second official language (English). For employers, we provide a wage subsidy of 60% of the provincial minimum wage. This means that employers will pay approximately $6.00 per hour!
In Charlottetown, work placements take place July 2nd to between August 10th-24th, 2018 (depending on how long you want the work placement to be). Jobs must offer 30-40 hours of meaningful work per week, and priority is given to green jobs.
