Over 350 people attended the event in 2014. About 60% of attendees were members of the newcomer community looking for business and investment opportunities on PEI. New this year will be a pitch floor where businesses can present their business and investment opportunities one-on-one with potential buyers or investors. Island professional services companies, such as accountants, real estate companies, and law firms, will promote their services with exhibitor booths in a tradeshow and networking area.
Advancing Island Connections will take place Thursday, November 26 from 8:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the Prince Edward Island Convention Centre. The event is open to anyone with an interest in business opportunities – whether it is investment, purchase or business growth.
The event is free to attend but registration is required. Register online at www.charlottetownchamber.com or contact Kirstin Sweet at firstname.lastname@example.org or 902-628-2000.
