RDÉE Prince Edward Island and its Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI have lead two successful sales missions to Montreal in the past two years. We’re now preparing for our third mission and are seeking your assistance in identifying bilingual businesses that might be able to participate in and benefit from this fall’s mission, slated for Oct. 23-27.
The first two sales mission generated exceptional results: more than $400,000 in sales as well as several other major contracts that are still being negotiated. RDÉE, therefore, is looking to continue to multiply these successes.
The eight businesses that will be chosen must have a product or service that is ready or almost ready be to be shipped and sold in the Montreal marketplace. The company must also have the ability to communicate well in French since many Montreal buyers don’t necessarily speak English.
Businesses accepted for the mission will receive the visit of a consultant who will gather in-depth details about the products or services to be sold. He will then fix meetings for each Island participant with a minimum of eight potential buyers.
Participants will have to pay 60 per cent of their lodging and transportation costs (between $750-$850). All other costs will be covered.
If you consider that the 14 participants at our first two missions obtained average sales of more than $28,000, you’ll see that this is a great return on investment.
All those interested in participating are urged to contact Robert at 902-370-7333, Ext. 403, or firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
