Deputy PM Freeland provided the following response to our pre-budget letter:
Dear Bill DeBlois:
Thank you for your correspondence of February 7, 2023, which was also addressed to the Minister of Tourism and Associate Minister of Finance, the Honourable Randy Boissonnault, and for providing the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce’s (GCACC) thoughtful proposal for Budget 2023.
Continuing to build an economy that works for everyone will require ideas from Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast, and please be assured that your thoughts and suggestions will be given careful consideration as we work to develop Budget 2023.
Thank you again for writing on behalf of the GCACC.
Sincerely,
The Honourable Chrystia Freeland, P.C., M.P.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance
