AgriWorks North America Inc. is excited to announce a significant achievement resulting from collaboration with PEI seafood processors in O’leary and Summerside. AgriWorks is sending around 15,000 lbs of local crabs and 30,000 lbs of PEI lobster to Vietnam.
This is a big step in introducing PEI’s top-quality seafood to the growing Asian seafood market, bringing in about half a million dollars in export revenue for our local seafood industry. We’re grateful for the support of our local seafood fisheries community in making this happen.
