Bulk Carriers is celebrating 50 years in operation.
Bulk Carriers PEI Limited began in 1973 as a single truck operation hauling fuel.
Over the next 50 years, the family-owned and operated business grew into what it is today, a thriving company with a fleet of over 100 trucks and 200 trailers and over 150 employees all while maintaining the family business atmosphere Prince Edward Island is known for. The establishment of sister companies Jack’s Truck Wash in Cornwall, PE and Kelcold in Moncton, NB are just a few of the strides made by current owner Jack Kelly, to support everyday business and become a leader in temperature-controlled transport services.
The occasion was marked with a celebration and open house at their brand new state-of-the-art administrative and driver facility in Clyde River.
