Charlottetown, PE (Oct. 20, 2022) – The Greater Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the selection of Inclusifyy to deliver EDI training to Island employers through Lead the Shift.    Lead the Shift is an employer training program delivered by the Chamber. The program provides employers with the education, skills, and tools necessary to develop and implement equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) strategies and policies at their workplaces.

Inclusifyy has a proven track record of guiding organizations in building truly diverse workforces that thrive in cultures of equity and inclusion. The firm successfully led two cohorts of Island employers through Lead the Shift training in 2021.

“The goal of the program is to help employers create welcoming and inclusive workplaces,” said Robert Godfrey, CEO of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce. “Employers who participated in last year’s training led by Inclusifyy report that it was both impactful and transformational. We’re delighted to have Inclusifyy return to deliver EDI training to more Island employers.”

“It is with honour and excitement that I return to deliver the program,” said Inclusifyy founder Amanda Fernandez. “I am honoured to come alongside program participants as they learn how to engage with equity, diversity, and inclusion work in their organizations.”

Training for the first cohort will begin on November 08, 2022. The 25-hour program will feature a combination of virtual and in-person sessions. It will be offered free of charge to Island organizations. Space is limited; to register, visit www.charlottetownchamber.com/leadtheshift.

Lead the Shift is funded by Employment and Social Development Canada through the PEI Department of Economic Growth, Tourism and Culture.
