Charlottetown, PE (June 3, 2021) – The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the 2022 President’s Excellence Awards. Sponsored by Atlantic Lottery, the President’s Excellence Awards gala is the Chamber’s biggest night of the year and celebrates the business community across ten different categories.

“The President’s Excellence Awards is an evening that the Chamber and its members look forward to every year,” said Chamber Board President, Barb Smith. “We are always excited to celebrate the success, dedication, resiliency and innovation of our business community, but particularly this year, as we continue to recover from COVID-19.”

The categories for this year’s gala include Excellence in Business, Excellence in Small Business, Excellence in Customer Service, Emerging Business Excellence, Workplace Excellence, Not-for-Profit Excellence, People’s Choice for Community Impact, Excellence in Collaboration, Innovation Excellence, and Entrepreneur of the Year.

A panel of independent judges adjudicates the nominations and determines the awards finalists.  The People’s Choice for Community Impact Award recipient is decided through an online public vote that will take place in the fall. The Entrepreneur of the Year award recipient is chosen by the Board of Directors Executive Committee.

The President’s Excellence Awards, typically held in November, will be held on January 26, 2022, at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward.
