Charlottetown, PE (March 18, 2022) – The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, the Honourable Sean Fraser, as part of its Chamber Live: Economic Recovery Series on March 21, 2022, starting at 1:15 PM via Facebook Live and Zoom.

“As we try to grow our population and bolster our economy, Minister Sean Fraser and his department will be a crucial part of that,” said Chamber CEO Robert Godfrey. “The federal government will be an important business partner as we transition out of the pandemic and towards economic growth. We are happy to be hosting the Minister for this session.”

This half-hour event will feature remarks from the Minister and a question-and-answer period between Minister Fraser and Chamber Board President Barb Smith, focusing on the topic of economic recovery as it relates to his department and the federal government.

The event is open to the public and will be streamed live to the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page and Zoom. Registration is not required; however, you can RSVP on the event page here.
