Charlottetown Civic Centre Management Inc. (CCCMI) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Shebib as the new General Manager for Eastlink Centre Charlottetown. Shebib will play a key leadership role in guiding one of Atlantic Canada’s most comprehensive and versatile
sport and entertainment operations while advancing the complex’s growth strategy.

“Jennifer is a seasoned and high-energy professional who will bring contagious passion to Eastlink Centre Charlottetown,” said CCCMI Board Chair, John Abbott. “Her in-depth experience and broad network will benefit our organization immensely. On behalf of the CCCMI Board, I welcome Jennifer to
our team.”

Having worked in tourism and event management and in the IT industry for more than 28 years, Shebib brings a wealth of experience and industry expertise to her new role as General Manager.

Shebib’s vision for her new role is to build on the highly competitive advantages held by Eastlink Centre Charlottetown in the lucrative sport and entertainment industry. She will also play an integral role in guiding the operation through the pandemic recovery phase.

Commenting on her new position Shebib said, “Eastlink Centre Charlottetown is known for its many successes and is respected within the region as a vibrant venue. I’m thrilled to join the dedicated team here in Charlottetown and be part of something special. As we chart our way out of the pandemic,
opportunities will return as we work our way through continued hosting excellence with the Canada Winter Games, U SPORTS Men’s Hockey Championship, and World Under-17 Hockey Challenge on the upcoming calendar of events, to name a few.”

Prior to joining Eastlink Centre Charlottetown, Shebib held a number of rewarding positions at JLS Consulting Services, Events Cape Breton, Millennium Hotels & Resorts and Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines.
