On June 5, the UPEI OCEPD will offer a live version of our new Beyond Awareness – Neurodiverse Workplace Success Micro-Credential. Registration is free but spots are limited. The training sessions will take place at UPEI Alumni Hall (618 University Avenue, Charlottetown, PE) from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and will include three micro-courses:
– Understanding Neurodiversity in the Workplace
– Supporting Neurodivergent Employees
– Neuroinclusive Hiring Practices and Inclusive Teams
By the end of the micro credential, participants will have:
– Built awareness of neurodiversity, the experiences of neurodivergent individuals, and the value of inclusion in creating equitable, accessible workplaces.
– Familiarized themselves with practical, strengths-based strategies for supporting neurodivergent staff in daily workplace practices.
– Recognized what is needed to equip hiring managers and leaders with inclusive recruitment and team-building practices.
