Local business Navigate Food Safety Solutions was awarded the 2019 Supplier of the Year Award from Weston Foods, a premier North American bakery that produces brands like WonderBread, Country Harvest and D’Italiano and supplies them to retail outlets across North America.

Navigate has continually established itself by the quality of its training and coaching within the realm of Food Safety Management Systems for manufacturing. First launched in 2013 by Alex Hanley, Navigate Food Safety Solutions has contributed to improving the way food manufacturers throughout Canada and the US manage food safety, certifications, and compliance.

“We are very happy to be recognized for our multi-level work with Weston Foods.” said Maureen Hanley, COO at Navigate Food Safety Solutions. “We enjoy our work: while that in itself is rewarding enough, it is always wonderful for our team to be highlighted and acknowledged for their high bar. We value the great relationship we have with Weston and look forward to continuing to do great things together.”

Navigate Food Safety Solutions is currently developing online training to offer to the food safety industry at large. The first release will be products related to Internal Auditing and Teamwork.
