Michelle Burge, Chair of the Board of Directors and a member of the Board of Governors for JA Prince Edward Island, and Partner with MRSB Group, was awarded the 2026 Royden Richardson National JA Volunteer Award from JA Canada at the 2026 Canadian Business Hall of Fame.
Over more than 30 years with JA PEI, Burge has taken on nearly every role the organization offers, from classroom volunteer and mentor to Board Chair. Her leadership has been instrumental in building a culture of accountability, growth, and long-term impact within the organization.
Burge has championed financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and mentorship throughout her community, helping shape opportunities for countless young people along the way.
“Thank you, Michelle, for your extraordinary leadership and lasting impact,” JA Canada said in a post celebrating the honour.
Michelle Burge receives the 2026 Royden Richardson National JA Volunteer Award at the 2026 JA PEI Business Hall of Fame Gala on May 21, 2026. The award was presented by Emeka Aniobi, a JA Company Program and Grace Christian School student.
