On November 5, 2020, the Chamber wrote a correspondence letter to Minister Matthew MacKay regarding the impacts the work-from-home transition is having on businesses in the downtown Charlottetown core. In this letter, the Chamber proposes funding to support businesses that have been negatively impacted by the transition due to the pandemic. This proposal would allow for the equitable distribution of funds for impacted businesses.
