Today, the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce (GCACC) sent a letter to all four Island Members of Parliament regarding the federal government’s decision to adopt a common hybrid work model, which will see federal employees return to the office for at least two to three days per week.

In the letter, we welcomed the decision, as even a partial return to offices is positive news for businesses in our capital region, with the daily commuter and foot traffic of federal employees, such as Veterans Affairs Canada, contributing significantly to the economic well-well being and vibrancy of our business community.
