The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Logan Rempel of T3 Fitness and Kinesiology as the recipient of its 2026 Rising Entrepreneur Award.

Sponsored by Innovation PEI, the award recognizes an entrepreneur aged 30 or younger who demonstrates exceptional leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit. The award was presented to Rempel at the Chamber’s 2026 Presidents Luncheon at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward on Thursday, May 14.

T3 Fitness and Kinesiology, co-founded by Logan Rempel and Rob Dickson, is a kinesiology clinic specializing in evidence-based training, mobility, injury prevention, and strength programming for older adults and individuals with complex health conditions. T3 — which stands for Teach, Test, Train — focuses on bridging the gap between fitness and healthcare by using exercise as a tool for preventative health and long-term wellness.

“Winning this award is incredibly meaningful because there have been a lot of long days, late nights, and hard work behind building T3 Fitness and Kinesiology,” said Rempel. “We’ve poured everything into creating a space where people feel supported, welcomed, and empowered to improve their health. To have that recognized by the community and the Chamber is something I’m truly grateful for.”

Founded in 2025, the business opened its first location on Macleod Crescent in Charlottetown and is preparing to open a second location in Stratford. The company currently serves more than 100 clients and continues to expand its staff, with additional team members joining in the coming weeks.

Looking ahead, Rempel and the team plan to continue expanding access to high-quality training and preventative health services across Prince Edward Island. The business hopes to further expand its offerings to include more specialized services that are currently limited on PEI. Rempel also hopes to see kinesiology recognized as a regulated, billable profession under insurance coverage in the future, allowing it to play a more integrated role within the healthcare system.

In just over a year, T3 Fitness and Kinesiology has surpassed the team’s expectations, growing into a thriving clinic with nearly full schedules and an expanding client base. Despite the early success, Rempel says the business is still only at the beginning of its journey, with continued growth and opportunity ahead.

“I’d like to give a special shoutout to my business partner, Rob, and our staff, Rodolfo and Connor, as none of this would be possible without their daily efforts and commitment to what we’re building together,” said Rempel.

Before launching T3 Fitness and Kinesiology, Rempel worked as a full-time personal trainer, played professional basketball, was named an all-conference collegiate athlete, and worked as both an assistant basketball coach and collegiate strength and conditioning coach. Throughout his athletic career, he underwent two knee surgeries and dealt with several other injuries — experiences that helped shape his passion for rehabilitation, movement, and preventative healthcare. Today, he also speaks at schools and community events to inspire the next generation through sport, health, fitness, and business, and was recognized as one of the Top 36 Trainers in Canada by Impact Magazine.

Originally from Grand Prairie, Alberta, Rempel holds diplomas in Kinesiology and Sport and Recreation Management from Holland College, and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CPT). He is currently completing his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Prince Edward Island.

The Rising Entrepreneur award reflects the Chamber’s commitment to promoting and encouraging entrepreneurship in PEI. The prize includes a $2,500 cash grant, a complimentary one-year membership from the Chamber, and quarterly mentorship meetings.

“Logan has built a business that is not only growing quickly, but also making a meaningful impact in the community,” said Bianca McGregor, CEO of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce. “His passion for innovation and helping others reflects the spirit of this award, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for T3 Fitness and Kinesiology.”

Ben McQuaid of EZ Breathe Heat Pump Cleaning and Erynn Mustapha of Jane’s Island Photography were recognized as finalists for this award and will receive free Chamber memberships for one year and mentorship opportunities.

The Rising Entrepreneur Award is presented annually, with a panel of judges reviewing applications and interviewing applicants to determine the recipient and any finalists.
