MC Advisory, a new boutique consulting firm, has launched to support the acceleration of Atlantic Canadian businesses and the public sector.

At a time when Atlantic Canadian businesses are rallying and continuing to have an impact nationally and globally, MC Advisory announces its official launch. MC Advisory blends global and local experience, as well as a passion for the success of Atlantic Canada. MC Advisory has the ability to leverage its affiliation to leading Canadian law firm McInnes Cooper, collaborating when beneficial to offer clients an integrated and seamless transition between deep and relevant advisory expertise and best-in-class legal service.

McInnes Cooper’s leadership team announced the establishment of MC Advisory in 2020, followed by the introduction of Drew Barbour as Managing Director in January of 2021. Drew’s Atlantic Canadian roots and extensive global experience in leadership and driving transformational change strongly position him to lead the launch and development of this new venture.

“We are excited to announce several new hires in the coming weeks,” said Drew Barbour of the launch. “We are assembling a great team of leading advisors from across all four Atlantic provinces who bring deep and relevant experience in their practice areas. Core to our mission is helping Atlantic Canadian businesses, communities, governments, and not-for-profit organizations plan for and deliver success over the long term.”

MC Advisory will launch with three practice areas: Business Growth & Legacy, People & Culture, and Public & Social Sector. Strategic advisors will support clients in each practice area by providing specific services covering strategy and transformation, design and development, and solution delivery.
