Are you passionate about supporting the business community in the greater Charlottetown area? Applications are now open for appointments to the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce 2026-27 Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors are volunteers from diverse professional backgrounds who are elected to oversee the affairs of the GCACC in accordance with its by-laws. Directors are elected for two-year terms (with the option to re-offer for an additional two years).
Requirements:
- Applicants have to be members in good standing at the time of application (dues paid).
- Successful candidates will be required to attend a minimum of 2/3 of board meetings, of which there are 8, including the Annual General Meeting held in May of each year.
- Board Directors are also expected to serve on at least one committee of the Board, which includes Advocacy, Finance and Audit, and/or Governance.
- Terms commitments are for 2 years, at which time a Board Director may sign up for an additional 2-year term.
