On October 11, GCACC Board President Kim Griffin spoke as a witness to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance as part of the federal government’s 2024 pre-budget consultations.
Recommendations touched on affordability for our members and their customers; continued immigration support for both newcomers and businesses hiring newcomers; employment insurance reform; and climate adaptation support for Island businesses, including storm relief and preparedness.
