On October 18th, Penny Walsh McGuire, Executive Director of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce, spoke as a witness to the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance as part of the federal government’s 2017 pre-budget consultations.

The presentation highlighted the main aspects of the Chamber’s written recommendations, submitted on August 5th, 2016.

Recommendations were raised around: entrepreneur development; immigration and skills development; federal support for the Charlottetown Airport; and financial and physical infrastructure for projects that support innovation and commercialization.
