Charlottetown, PE (May 15, 2023) – Vivian Kaye, founder of premium textured hair extension brand KinkyCurlyYaki and TV/podcast entrepreneur personality, will be the keynote speaker at the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 President’s Luncheon.

The luncheon, sponsored by Richardson Wealth, will be presented on Wednesday, May 31, from 11:30AM to 1:30 PM at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward. There will be an optional Meet & Greet after the keynote from 1:30PM to 2:00PM.

Vivian bootstrapped KinkyCurlyYaki into a $6 million in revenue as an immigrant, college dropout, and single mom after she saw a gap in the market for premium textured hair extensions for Black Women. Drawing from her own experience, her keynote Thrive and Strive will share invaluable insights and strategies for building and sustaining a successful business in today’s ever-changing business landscape. Vivian will discuss how to recruit and retain the right talent, nurture their potential, and create a culture of excellence that fosters both personal and professional growth.

As a self-proclaimed Gary Vee meets Oprah remix, Vivian acts as the bridge between big and small businesses as a business and empowerment expert. Vivian is an Entrepreneur Expert on TV’s CityLine with Tracy Moore and podcast host of Business Class: Build it Braver from American Express Canada

Along with her philanthropic efforts through mentorship, she has worked with many notable brands such as Shopify, Porsche Canada, Desjardins, LG Canada, RBC, Fairmont Hotels, BMO, Samsung, and American Express Canada to name a few.
